Ubisoft have had their 2016 conference at E3. So what have we found out?

Ubisoft have held their E3 2016 press conference. Let’s find out what they had to show us!

Just Dance 2017

The annual dance game will be back and coming to all platforms including Nintendo NX. This makes it one of very few titles confirmed for Nintendo NX.

The demo started with “Don’t Stop Me Now” by the legendary group Queen. It looks like it still has the showtime mode allowing players to create their own music videos. Trailer below:

The release date looks set to be October 2016.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 7th March 2017.

The game had the largest open-world ever for a Ubisoft game and can be completed in single-player, four-player co-op or even a mixture of both. See the E3 trailer below:

The game was announced at E3 2015 and we’ve been excited for a confirmed release date ever since.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

A release date for South Park: The Fractured but Whole has been announced and it’s coming to PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on 6th December 2016. The brand new trailer is below:

A follow up to the amazing The Stick of Truth this game sees us return to South Park as the new kid but instead of Game of Thrones/Lor of the Rings, the kids are now playing superheroes based on some episodes of South Park.

South Park: The Stick of Truth

Originally released in 2014 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, a lot of players were annoyed to find that this game was not released on the most recent generation of consoles. A remastered version has been announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

South Park Stick of Truth

When you purchase The Fractured but Whole you will get the game for free but if you pre-order The Fractured but Whole now you can play Stick of Truth right away. The game was a critical success and is a great play if you’re a fan of the show.

The Division Underground DLC

Ubisoft have announced DLC for The Division Underground coming on 2nd August 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC. They have also revealed a trailer for a second DLC pack called Survival which has been described as “a completely new way to play the game.

Survival appears to be an apt title for the DLC as the player has to survive various weather conditions and even scavenge for food. The new pack will be available in Summer 2016.

There is also a third DLC pack called Last Stand due for release in Winter 2016. As Ubisoft celebrate 30 years they are bringing Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell outfits to The Division.

For Honour

For Honour will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 14th February 2017. The trailer gave us a look at the brand new Viking Campaign mission. Players can also control Samurais and Knights.

The game was first announced at E3 2015 and not much has been revealed until now. A character name has been revealed called Oni who belongs to the Samurais. Not much else has been announced.

Trials of the Blood Dragon

Ubisoft have announced that they are combining two of their franchises being Trials and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

The game sees familiar face Sergeant Rex “Power” Colt and his wife and children. The game is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Grow Up

A sequel to the game Grow Home has been announced at E3 2016. It is produced by Ubisoft’s very own Reflections studio and will be released in August 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

B.U.D. returns in this game without the AI protection of M.O.M. The game looks like great fun to play with new actions and storylines. If it’s anything like the first game it’ll be an enjoyable ride.

Steep

Continuing the open-world theme, Steep has been announced and has been described as the first ever game to “link open world and sport”. It’s thought that the game will be released in December 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The game is set in the Alps the player can ski, paraglide, snowboard or wingsuit down the mountain. It’s focused on playing online for a shared experience. The game started as a demo for Ghost Recon: Wildlands and has since become its own game created by Ubisoft’s Annecy Studio.

Watch Dogs 2 DLC

Watch Dogs 2 will have DLC available for PlayStation 4 30 days before other platforms.

It has not been revealed what kind of DLC is coming but the game will be out on 15th November 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
