Tekken 7 has finally been confirmed for early 2017

Tekken 7 has finally had its release date confirmed for early 2017.

The game was announced at Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference and will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam for PC. Director Katsuhiro Harada had this to say on the game:

“Not only will it evolve as a competitive fighting game, as you just saw, there’s an all-new story mode that transitions from epic narrative cinematics to action filled gameplay.” Trailer below:

Harada also announced that Tekken Tag Tournament will be available to download for free during E3 2016 for Xbox Live Gold members.

GeekPress UK have been following the game for a long time anticipating the release date. We’ve brought you the news of the roster old and new which includes HeIhachi’s wife Kazumi and even a crossover with Street Fighter with Akuma joining the game.
