Rihanna Cast in Iconic Role For Bates Motel Final Season

The music star will be taking the iconic role of Marion Crane from the original film.

Popular music superstar Rihanna has been cast in one of the most iconic roles in horror. She will be joining the final season of Bates Motel as Marion Crane. The news was announced at comic-con during the TV show’s panel.

“We wanted to thrust the iconic role into a contemporary spotlight and redefine it in a meaningful and exciting new way,” the executive producers of the show stated. “We also heard Rihanna is a fan of the show and we are huge fans of hers so it was the perfect collision of creativity and fate.”

Rihanna will no doubt make a great addition to the already fantastic show which blew us away last season. Bates Motel is returning for its fifth and final time in 2017 where the story will link into the original movie that the show itself is a prequel to. Alfred Hitchcock’s classic movie Psycho still remains popular today and has one of the most famous scenes of all time. We’re very excited to see how it plays out!

In other geeky Rihanna news the star has announced that she has banned fans playing Pokémon Go at her concerts. It comes after a fan was caught playing the game at a Beyoncé concert and Rihanna doesn’t want it happening at hers.
