At 04:30PM on 8th June (UK time) Square Enix held their E3 2016 press conference.

What did they focus on?

Well the E3 2016 conference focused on Deus Ex Universe which is their umbrella name for all Deus Ex games. With the announcement in 2015 of the fifth instalment Deus Ex: Mankind Divided preparing for release on 23rd August 2016 this was their main focus.

What was announced?

Square Enix have announced that Deus Ex will not only received it’s fifth instalment but more. Deus Ex: Go was announced which is an app to be released in late Summer which will focus on augmentation and stealthy infiltration. A puzzle creator will be released after the release of Deus Ex: Go which will allow the player to create their own levels.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided: Breach was also mentioned which will be a completely separate story from the main game. The gameplay focuses almost exclusively on combat, stealth and environmental puzzle-solving. There’s also a big focus on community, with optional challenges and leaderboards constantly pushing players to do better. The game is also set in a completely virtual world.

The main feature of the presentation was Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Gameplay below:
